About Salespeak

Salespeak.ai is on a mission to modernize B2B sales. Founded in 2023 by Lior Mechlovich and Omer Gotlieb, Salespeak was born out of firsthand frustration with traditional inbound sales processes that often left prospects waiting and sales teams unsure. Their goal is to redefine the buying journey, turn it into an intelligent and personalized experience,  and scale selling and buying without scaling headcount.

Salespeak.ai is the AI Sales Brain that transforms B2B websites into expert-led, real-time conversion engines. Unlike traditional chatbots or SDR workflows, Salespeak provides expert-level, personalized conversations that engage, qualify, and convert—while surfacing buyer intent and GTM insights from every visit.

Salespeak’s product is built for seamless integration. It integrates with widely used GTM tools, including HubSpot, Salesforce, Calendly, and Slack, enabling sales and marketing teams to stay aligned. The experience is continuous and omnichannel, maintaining context across touchpoints and delivering tailored insights such as buyer intent and journey analytics.

Behind the scenes, Salespeak runs a fully serverless, event-driven architecture. Real-time data from customer websites and interactions flows into their system, powering both automation and analytics.

The Challenge: Finding Observability that Fits

In the early days, the team explored observability options like Sumo Logic, Elasticsearch, and Datadog. While these tools offered breadth, they quickly proved mismatched for Salespeak’s needs. Each came with a high price tag and a level of complexity that felt overwhelming for a lean startup team.

“We didn’t want to spend thousands just to get visibility. As a startup, we needed something cost-effective, fast to deploy, and easy for developers to use,” says Lior. “Lumigo stood out because it checked every box, and didn’t require us to make trade-offs.”

Lumigo’s focus on providing a cost-effective, yet powerful solution made them a natural fit, and a powerful upgrade from the overly complex tools they were leaving behind.

The Solution: Lumigo + Copilot

Lior first encountered Lumigo at AWS re:Invent. When founding Salespeak, he chose Lumigo for its simplicity and serverless capabilities. What stood out immediately was how quickly it could be deployed. Within minutes, they began to see their first traces.

“Datadog was just too expensive and too complex for a startup. Lumigo felt like it was built for us. Developer-oriented, easy to use, and powerful,” Lior recalls.

But it was Lumigo Copilot that truly transformed their workflow. Integrated directly into their Slack-based operations, Copilot’s AI gave the team instant context on alerts. Rather than switching between tools or manually tracing the issue, they could ask Copilot directly: What service threw the error? Which organization was affected? What’s the stack trace?

“I used to click through the UI and maps to diagnose issues. Now I get everything I need in Slack, in under 20 seconds.”

A New Way to Work

Salespeak’s backend team quickly embraced Lumigo. And with Copilot, Slack has effectively become their control plane for incident response.

The workflow is fast and fluid. Alerts land in Slack. A developer asks Copilot for the stack trace or the impacted org. Copilot delivers the details instantly. With that context in hand, Lior can assign the issue to the right person, without even opening the Lumigo UI.

This transformation has democratized incident response. Junior developers no longer need to wait for a senior engineer to triage an issue. Copilot gives them the insights they need to understand and act quickly.

“It’s helping everyone on the team level up. They can see the full picture of what went wrong and why, without being buried in logs or noise.”

The Impact

Before Copilot, triaging an alert could take minutes, sometimes longer when sifting through irrelevant noise. Now, it takes seconds. And the signal-to-noise ratio has flipped. Irrelevant errors are filtered out. Real issues are surfaced with full context. It’s a change that not only saves time but also increases focus across the team.

“We almost never log into the Lumigo UI anymore for triage. Copilot filters out false positives and brings the right data straight to where we work—Slack,” says Lior. “If you want observability that matches your speed, Lumigo is it.”

For a fast-moving startup like Salespeak, where every second counts, the value of Lumigo and its Copilot is clear. It keeps engineers focused on building, not bogged down in alerts. And it empowers every developer, regardless of experience, to contribute to stability and performance.
